Book 2 of series: 22,762
Romance book: 3,671
I’ve given up on Nanowrimo. I don’t think I’ll bother with it anymore. I’m gotten too paranoid about word counts and not what is in those words. So I need to get back to basics, and think about the story first and enjoy what I’m writing and not to worry about how many words is in what I’ve written.
It’s 1pm on Monday, I’ve gone for a walk and cleaned the house so I’m taking now till 4pm to get something written on Book 2, and I am going to enjoy writing every-single-word and not try and do a 1,000-words-in-one-hour word sprint and then forget what I’ve written. I’m getting a cup of hot coco, and I’m sitting at my desk with my book 1 printed beside me, and I’m going to get lost in the world I’ve created and I’m not going to check on the word count every few minutes, because I don’t care about the word count till the very end of the day.
Overall I want to get to 30k and 10k this week. But I’m not going to kill myself and to stress out over it, I’m going to just enjoy writing what I can and no worrying about reaching those goals.
