You have to keep your eyes peeled on the weather if you want to go for a walk. At this very moment, I want to go for one, it’s lovely and overcast right now, but in the next hour it’s supposed to clear up and reach 15 degrees.
This may not seem like much, but when your pounding the streets and you have a white husky marching next to you, you become very hypersensitive to everything your dog does. You even play a mental scene in your head with your four-legged buddy collapsing onto the ground from overheating.
I can’t go on a walk by myself and bring him on one later when it cools down because when I put on my walking gear, he wont let me the door out without him. Simple as. If i’m going walking, he’s coming too.
Yep, there is a downside to owning a husky. Even in Ireland.
